Help prevent crime in your neighborhood:

​

• Good neighbors make safer communities — take the time to get to know them!

• Lock your doors. Many criminals take advantage of easy targets and many break-ins are due to unlocked cars and homes, so always lock your doors to prevent being the victim of a "crime of opportunity."

• Don't leave valuables in your car or unsecured in your house; it's an open invitation for thieves to steal.

• Keep exterior lights on overnight or consider installing motion detector-type flood lights. Criminals prefer dimly lit areas.

• When going out of town, notify a neighbor and have your mail and newspaper deliveries stopped.
